It was cold and rainy outside, the typical weather for Forks. The sound of 80’s rock playing in the background of my thoughts as I rode in my uncle Charlie’s truck to my temporary home for a while. Looking out of the window only made me feel more homesick of that beautiful Florida sun.
“Don’t worry, Jane. You’ll really like it here in Forks and you’ll get used to the rain soon,” said Charlie “Everyone here’s real nice and you’ll make a lot of new friends in no time.”
I simply nodded and returned to my thoughts. This was going to be a tough change for me. The one person that I would know going into my new high school would be Bella, my cousin. Her house would be my residence for the time I spent here and I was really looking forward to it. She’s the same age as I am and someone I really admire as a friend.
“Well, here we are,” said Charlie as we pulled up to a small ranch-style house. It was quaint, homely looking, and just what I wanted it to be.
“Hey, Kim!” Came a voice from a girl coming out of the house, it was Bella “It’s so good to see you again!”
"You too! It’s been so long,” I said as we embraced. She was warm, and I suddenly realized how freezing I was. “You look great, but let’s get inside, I’m freezing!”
We quickly walked inside and into the warmth of the house.
“I’ll show you where our room is, we’ll be sharing one. I hope that’s okay with you?” said Bella heading towards the stairs.
“Yeah, that’s perfect!” I said as I followed her lead up the stairs, down the hall, through a door, and into the room. “So I’m guessing this one’s mine?” There were two beds in the room, one that looked untouched and one that wasn’t made. I nodded my head towards the made one.
“You got it!” she said and took one of my bags from me “At least, it is until we clear out the room across the hall out. Then you can have your own room.”
I set the other bag on my bed and started to unpack, Bella doing the same with the other.
“So tell me about your life so far in Forks.” I said, while throwing clothes everywhere.
“It’s actually pretty nice here. At first I never really liked even visiting, but living here has been the best decision I’ve ever made for myself. The people here are nice and I've even made a special friend."
I gave her a skeptical look and said, “Bella, by 'special friend' do you mean a boyfriend?”
She grinned and blushed a little then, not meeting my gaze, said, "I could."
"Bella!" I playfully poked her a couple times. "So tell me about him."
"Well, his name is Edward Cullen and he goes to our school in our grade. He lives with his family in a huge house in the woods; two sisters Rosalie and Alice, two brothers Emmett and Jasper, his father Carlisle, and his mother Esme. His father is a well-known doctor in this town and they're all very nice."
“Will I get to meet him sometime?” I asked.
“Yes, tomorrow at school. He said that he also has a cousin that will be living with him and his family for a while, just like you are with me, so you will get to meet him too.”
“I’m so nervous. I’m going to be so confused with everything tomorrow.”
“It’ll be okay. At least you’ll know someone going into the school. I didn’t know anyone and it was still all right. You’ll really like Edward. I don’t really talk to anyone else at school since I met him. You should fit in just fine.”
“I hope so.”
“Well we should probably get to bed now since we have to wake up early tomorrow morning. The bathroom is down the hall and to the left if you need it.”
“Okay, thanks. Night.”
“Good night.”

I cannot wait. I am so like..going to pre-order tickets so that I can actually get in..and come to the theatre like an hour earlier.
I got these cool iron-on's from a friend that say "Team Jacob" and "Team Edward" on them that I intend to make into T-shirts whenever I go buy plain t-shirts. X3
Those are seriously going to kick ass.
